How to Retrieve Leads from Facebook Lead Generation Ads

When running lead gen ads on Facebook, it’s important to download your leads frequently. Facebook only stores leads for 90 days, and leads older than this can't be downloaded. Once your leads are downloaded, you’ll be able to add the email addresses to your company’s mailing list. Depending on your CRM and the email integration programs you use, this process could be automated. To download your leads manually, please follow the steps below.

This guide has 3 steps:

  1. Login to your Facebook Business Manager

  2. Navigate to your page and forms library

  3. Download your leads

1.) Login

First, login to your Facebook Business Manager.


2.) Navigate to your page and Forms Library

From your Facebook Business Manager, click the hamburger icon (≡) in the top lefts and choose “Business Settings”.


Click “Pages”, then click on your business page, then click “View Page”.


Click “More”, then click “Publishing Tools”. On some accounts, “Publishing Tools” will be visible without clicking “More”.


Click “Forms Library”, then click “Download” next to the form you would like to download.


3.) Download your leads

Select the your preferred option: Download New Leads or Download by Date Range. If you would like to connect to a CRM to access your leads instantly, click “Connect your CRM”.


Click your preferred download format: CSV or XLS.


Your file will automatically download. If you don’t see your download, navigate to your “downloads” folder on your computer.


That’s it! Congratulations, you can now add your leads to your mailing list.
